Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium

At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, the large-hill ski jump competition (then called the 90-m-hill jump competition) was held here. Visitors can ride a lift to the start point (elev.: 300 m). The observatory lounge is popular among tourists, as it commands a splendid night view of Sapporo.
At the Sapporo Winter Sports Museum on the premises here, visitors can learn the history of winter sports from exhibits and can use simulators to experience ski jumping and biathlon competition.
